This is the most spectacular meteor captured the whole night, and ironically it is not Geminid. While it is used in a composite image later it deserves an image of its own. Both Gemini and Orion constellation are captured in this image. The radiant of the Geminid meteor shower is near the top right of the Gemini constellation. If all meteors of the same shower are back traced their paths will appear to converge at a single point which is called the radiant, and a meteor shower is usually named after the constellation near its radiant. 这是拍到的最靓丽的一颗流星, 讽刺的是它不是双子座的。后面的合成图里有它，但它自己也值一张图。双子座和猎户座都在这张图里。双子座流星雨的辐射点在图中双子座的右上部。如果把同属于一个流星雨的所有流星轨迹反向延长它们会相交于同一点，这个点就叫辐射点，而流星雨一般也以辐射点附近的星座命名
