First Contact
This was when I could first tell the eclipse had begun through my camera lens, at around 1:07 pm EDT. A small and shallow dimple can be seen just above the 2 o'clock position. About 15 seconds later most people without magnifying device noticed it too and loud cheers of excitement erupted. In case you are wondering, the black speckles are sunspots.
