This and the Milky Way photos after this one were taken on 21st, a calm and crisp night, after moon set. This image was the stack of 17 light and 10 dark frames by Sequator with the following setting: Composition (Align stars, Freeze ground, Selective), Sky regions (Irregular mask), HDR (On), Reduce light pollution (Uneven), Color space (Adobe RGB). Again it worked well. The only improvement I'd hope for is a more natural transition between the dark sky and the highly light-polluted skies near the horizon.
A little curve adjustment was applied in Photoshop, as well as Dfine2 with luminosity mask. Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon EF-S 10 – 22 mm Focal length used: 10 mm ISO: 6400 Aperture: 3.5 Shutter: 25 s |
