Horseshoe Bend

This spectacular bend of the Colorado River is located just south of Page, Arizona, alongside Highway 89. The river here is several hundred feet wide. Unfortunately we only manage to visit in mid-afternoon, so in addition to the distracting reflection of the sun over the water the colors of the photo turn out very dull. Therefore I made this image black and white.
