I've been watching this nest at work for nearly a month now. Last year either I missed the hatching completely, or there was some kind of incident and all eggs were destroyed. I have been hoping it won't happen this year. Today is the day - first notcied a yellow thing emerging from beneath the female then quickly disappeared. Surely enough that's the first gosling. One after another they popped out. By the time I left in the evening, I counted at least four (there are altogether seven as I counted the next day). Very exciting.
