I'm so ready!
A fellow photographer told me about this pair of blue-gray gnatcatchers which were nesting in a tree about 20 feet from the boardwalk. I paid them a visit the next day and they were very active, still adding to the nest, which was not much larger than a baseball! Too bad a couple weeks later the nest was completely blocked by branches and leaves. I hope they have sucessfully had their young!
